This song starts off with a saxophone  solo  that sets the tempo in a similiar vein to "I'm Somebody's Somebody Now".  The lyrics are not that long or complicated.     In contrast to" I like what you like" where she lets Joe Venuti start with a fast paced violin solo, Annette starts singing right from the start. But if you listen closely you can hear Joe Venuti in the background on every note.  He comes on much stronger in the second chorus but melds well with the guitarist who leads in the second chorus.    Listen closely towards the end where Annette starts whispering the words to  the second chorus.  Each musician plays ever so softly.  This early tune is what would become one of her signature tunes.  Good instrumentals and melodic little love song.  This is the best that music can become.  This was before Annette started to become famous.  It was just a bunch of musicians sitting down with Annette to play some real music.  In such a short song there is so much going on!  The layers are deep in this one!  Each musician is taking a strong lead in this trio.  Annette does not lead the musician they form triangle with each contributing equally.

Under the Moon

An owl and a squirrel
watched a happy couple spoonin neath a tree
they heard him say be my honey
And I'll be your bumblebee
He must have listened to me dearee
I want you to always be near me
Don't ever stay away when you're hear me
When you hear me callin you-oo
you'll know I'm waiting
for you

We've got some lovin' to do
Under the Moon

The skies are starry and bright
the birds are sleeping at night
there is no one in sight
Under the Moon

Close to my heart
I feel your tender embrace
Never depart
Like birds in June
I'm calling you-ooo
you know I'm waiting for you
we've got some lovin to do
Under the Moon

You know I'm waiting for you
We've got some lovin to do
Under the moon
The skies are starry and bright
the birds are sleeping at night
there is no one in sight
Under the Moon

Close to my heart
I feel your tender embrace
Never depart
Like birds in June
I'm calling you-ooo
you know I'm waiting for you
we've got some lovin to do
Under the Moon
